Arsenal are the favorites: Jurgen Klopp

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has pitted Arsenal as the favorites to win the Champions League clash between the two teams today. Arsenal are currently at the top with 6 points while Dortmund are in the second with 3 points ahead of Napoli on goal difference.

Arsenal have had a very successful campaign so far cruising through with comfortable 2-1 and 2-0 victories over Marseille and Napoli respectively. Dortmund however have won 3-0 agaainst Marseille and lost 2-1 to Napoli.

Klopp said , “Arsenal are first in one of the strongest leagues in the world (the English Premier League) so for tomorrow, they are favourites.

“But I think they will be two close games (on Tuesday and November 6) and the small things will decide what will happen and we have to be prepared for these small situations and details, and we will see.”

Klopp also spoke about Arsenal signing Ozil in the last day of the Summer transfer window, he said : “Everybody wanted Arsene to spend 80 million pounds, I don’t know, he couldn’t find the right player, then he took Flamini for zero and then he took Ozil for some money and I think he is the player who they have needed.”

“I think one year ago, nobody could imagine that it’s possible, that they play good football, maybe brilliant football, without Cazorla, and he was injured and then they can play with Ramsey and Wilshere on the wings and Rosicky’s back in good shape,” concluded the German.
