Arsenal bids £30 million for Borussia Dortmund's Mario Gotze

According to Dailymail, Arsene Wenger is targeting Borussia Dortmund’s mid-fielder, Mario Gotze, for a staggering £30 million. This could be Arsenal‘s record transfer bid. Reports suggest Wenger is ready to spend somewhere around £70 million, with his primary target being Gotze.

Wenger is also considering the Toulouse midfielder, Etienne Capoue, for £10 million. Liverpool‘s Pepe Reina is rumoured to be another strong target.

It is said that such a huge bid would be too much for Dortmund to turn down, and that they could be forced to sell Gotze if Arsenal make a serious offer.
