"Young goalkeeper Ryan Huddart will join National League side Eastleigh FC on a season-long loan," a statement read on Arsenal's official website.

"He gained experience with the first team the previous year, when he was named on the bench for the Champions League group-stage games against Borussia Dortmund and Anderlecht."

"A former England youth international, Huddart joins Eastleigh for the opportunity to play senior football. Everyone at Arsenal wishes Ryan the best for his time with the Hampshire club. The loan is subject to the completion of regulatory processes."

Eastleigh's chief executive officer Mark Jewel went on to heap praise on his side's capture of Huddart on a temporary basis. He also went on thank Arsenal’s Technical Director Richard Law and company secretary David Miles, along with the player's representative for helping National Conference side seal the deal.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Ryan to Eastleigh FC. Having met with him today, he is clearly a genuinely nice guy, but fiercely competitive. I know his presence at the club is going to raise the bar. Although he is a young man, he brings with him great professionalism due to the experience gained with his time at Arsenal FC," Jewel told Eastleigh's official website.

“I would like to thank Ryan’s representatives, along with Arsenal’s Technical Director Richard Law and company secretary David Miles, for making this loan possible. I will be doing everything possible to ensure relations between Eastleigh FC and Arsenal FC are to develop to their fullest potential.”

Huddart took on social media side Twitter to express his delight at joining Eastleigh.

"Pleased to have joined @eastleighfc on a season-long loan, looking forward to the season ahead," he tweeted.
