Arsenal were keen to land the Crystal Palace youngster as a replacement for Theo Walcott.
But after the former Southampton winger all set to sign a new deal with the club, the Gunners have dropped interest in the Eagles star, leaving the door open for Manchester United to sign Wilfried Zaha.
Meanwhile Walcott has rejected interest from top European clubs such as Paris-Saint Germain in the January transfer window.
He’s proven multiple times this season that he’s capable of being productive as a center forward/striker, and it’s hard to imagine him not featuring in these roles in Arsenal.
Also, Wilfried Zaha could be the subject of an auction among Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, with all four clubs monitoring the Crystal Palace winger, whose price would be around £10m, which Palace fees is too low.
