An Arsenal fan in Uganda has been hit hard by the club’s loss to Manchester United in the weekend after he lost his house in a bet over the game.
Henry Dhabasani raised the stakes high on Sunday as he put his two-roomed house in the bet favoring an Arsenal win against one Rashid Yiga, who staked his Toyota Premio car and his wife for a United win.
“The two put their stake in writing, with local leaders and fans witnessing the deed,” reported Observer – a Ugandan newspaper.
Dhabasani, who has three wives and five children reportedly fainted when Arsenal lost the game 1-0 after a Robin Van Persie goal. And he was thrown out of his house by several Manchester United fans.
