Tomas Rosicky has been out of action since September 10 when he suffered a thigh injury while playing for Czech Republic. But the recovery process is almost over and he is about make his return next week.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said to Arsenal.com, “Rosicky is the first back [of the injured players], but not in time for this week.
Rosicky is easily one of the most under rated players in the world and at his prime, he can match up with the likes of Cazorla or Ozil. But sadly, constant injuries have stopped him from performing on a consistent basis.
“Next week we will start to speak about that. He could come back in the squad for Sunday or Monday.”
On Lukasz Fabianski; Wenger said, “Fabianski will be alright [for the cup game]. He had a nasal problem but he will be alright. Fabianski and Viviano are the two goalkeepers in the squad.”
On Lukas Podolski, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Abou Diaby;Wenger said, “They are doing well but they are nowhere near ready,” “The next one back might be Lukas. Ox will be one and a half months more.”
