With players like Flamini, Walcott, and Podolski making their return from injury, Arsenal’s depth issues are slowly getting sorted. But the good news does not end here for the Arsenal fans.
Arsenal wonderkid Gedion Zelalem also returned to full fitness after two month absence with an injury. The 16-year-old play maker came into spotlight after some impressive performance in preseason for the gunners.
Arsenal U-21 coach Terry Burton selected him for the UEFA Youth League fixture with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. Zelalem played the whole 90 mins as a no 10 in the game which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Even though this is a great news for the North London club, there is no need to rush the youngster’s comeback into the senior team as Arsenal already have tremendous depth in their midfield department.
