Arsenal keeping tabs on Manchester City defender

According to Caught Offside, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is on alert as Manchester City are ready to offload Micah Richards.

With Bacary Sagna bound to leave the Gunners in the summer, Arsene Wenger is considering Richards as a replacement.

The 24-year-old England defender has been out since October and with Pablo Zabaleta’s excellent displays, Richards’ hopes of returning to first team action any time soon look uncertain.

Richards can play on the right and center of the defense which might have interested Wenger.

Despite an injury that has cut short his game time, he has an impressive 228 appearances for the Citizens.

He can not only strengthen the shaky Arsenal defense, but is also one the most experienced players in the Premier League.
