Arsenal make bid for Chilean striker

Arsene Wenger hopes to recruit another striker into his already large array of choices of forwards. Arsenal have reportedly offered to take Napoli striker Eduardo Vargas on loan for the rest of the season, claim Forza Italian.

The 23 year old Chilean striker has not really settled well in Naples, so a possible move to Premier League is actually surprising. The Gunners have coughed up a cool €1 million to secure a loan move, with hopes of offering another deal to keep him permanently at the Emirates.

In early January, it did look like Vargas was on a possible move to Sao Paolo, but now he’ll probably have seconds thoughts regarding that move.
