Jose Mourinho believes Arsenal need four more players to become “Invincibles” again

London, April 29 (IANS) Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho endorsed Arsenal legend Thierry Henry's assessment of his former side, saying he thinks the Gunners are four signings away from becoming "The Invincibles".

In English football, the term is used to refer the Arsenal team of the 2003-04 season after they won the English Premier League campaign unbeaten that season. The team was managed by incumbent coach Frenchman Arsene Wenger.

Henry on Monday said Wenger needed four "top-quality" arrivals to challenge the likes of leaders Chelsea for the English Premier League trophy. Arsenal are currently third in the table with 67 points from 33 matches but 10 points behind Chelsea. Mourinho supported Henry's opinion.

"Arsenal have a phenomenal squad. Thierry Henry said they need four top-class players. Give Arsenal four top-class players and I think they will again be The Invincibles," Mourinho was quoted as saying by goal.com on Wednesday.

The Portuguese manager also believes the potential arrival of other big names to play in the league at the end of the current season will further strengthen the squads of the top five English clubs - Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City.

"Manchester United have a phenomenal squad, including the most expensive player in the history of the Premier League, Angel Di Maria, who is not even playing. That shows the quality of the squad. They are a club where Financial Fair Play doesn't make a big difference and they will invest hugely again in the summer," he added.
