Parking can be a scary business, and for Arsenal stars Danny Welbeck, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla, that was certainly the case when Citroën UK and the Arsenal Ladies teamed up to play a tongue-in-cheek prank on the first team football stars as they took part in what they thought was going to be a straight forward parking challenge.
Created to launch Citroën’s parking campaign #ParkingHero, which aims to help educate UK drivers and highlight the useful technology featured on the New C4 Cactus and New C1, Danny, Aaron and Santi were unaware of just how heart-racing parking could be.
Released today, the fun-fuelled video builds around the Arsenal first team stars arriving unsuspectingly at an airfield in Hertfordshire. Arsenal Ladies stars Alex Scott and Jordan Nobbs were on hand to introduce Welbeck, Ramsey and Cazorla to a ‘supposed’ new signing, Annalese Ferrari, who in fact was an undercover stunt driver.
Watch as the prank unfolds, from the individual parking challenge – which shows the New C4 Cactus in action as each of the players perfect their parking skills – to the parking with passengers challenge, where the undercover stunt driver picks up the pace as she demonstrates some impressive skills, catching the players off guard, and getting some great reactions in the process.
