Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner was arrested last night after training on suspicion of criminal damage at his luxury apartment block.
Police took the 25 year old in to custody after doors to a gym were kicked in and a window smashed at his apartment block in Bushey, Hertfordshire.
Neighbours allegedly said they had heard the sound of doors being kicked in and windows smashed in the gym and pool area.
CCTV footage also emerged apparently showing people at an outside door to the flats just after 1am.
A camera inside the reception suite of the leisure area shows what appears to be the image of a man entering through a smashed window who then tries to kick open the locked door to the gym.
One resident said: “I could hear people smashing the doors. I shouted for them to stop but a man yelled abuse at me.
“You could hear the door being smashed time and time again.”
A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire police said: “A 25-year-old man from Bushey has been cautioned for criminal damage.
“He was released and is no longer in custody.”
This is not the first time Nicklas Bendtner has got in to a scrape with the law.
In May 2009 he was fined £5,000 for speeding at 103mph in 2012 while on loan at Sunderland.
And later that year Bendtner was banned for driving without a licence or insurance.
