Arsenal to make a move for Victor Valdes

The latest on Victor Valdes’ future is that Barcelona have agreed to let him leave prior to the end date of his contract, given they are paid a sum of £10 million for the Spanish goalkeeper.

The Spain International, considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in the La Liga, having won 19 titles including 5 La Liga titles and 3 Champion League titles, is currently being rooted for by Arsenal, who are hoping to quickly solve their goalkeeper problem.

Victor Valdes admitted to wanting to experience a different culture and expressed his intention to play for an English club. The issue of Arsenal refusing to meet his current £120,000 a week salary at the Nou Camp is a whole other issue.
