Arsenal, Tottenham to bid for Javier Hernandez?

London bound?

London might be the new home for Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez as Tottenham has entered a race with league toppers Arsenal to sign the Mexican in January.

The Telegraph reported that Andre Villas-Boas will be launching a bid for Chicharito if he manages to offload Emmanuel Adebayor. The 25-year-old is apparently unhappy at Old Trafford with the limited time on the pitch and the rumors were further ignited when Hernandez retweeted the following report by Sky Sports.

Both London clubs have been in pursuit of the highly rated forward for some time with Arsenal looking to solve their lack of depth in the position and Tottenham looking to find a prolific goal scorer for the team.

Adebayor has been pushed down the pecking order after the arrival of Roberto Soldado and the club will be desperate to get him off the payroll as he earns a mammoth amount of £175,000-a-week for apparently no reason.

Meanwhile, Arsenal who had a great start in the season will be looking to keep the momentum going with some marquee signing in the January and has Chicharito and Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema on top of the wish list.

However, United are unlikely to want to give away the star to a League rival but with David Moyes looking to strengthen his midfield in January, Chicharito could find himself in London when winter concludes.
