The impending arrival of Antoine Griezmann to FC Barcelona has put Ousmane Dembele's future at the club in a limbo. The youngster has struggled with fitness since his move from Borussia Dortmund and has taken some time to get used to life in Spain and has therefore been linked with a move away from La Liga.

Don Balon claims that Dembele has three offers on his table, one of which comes from Arsenal. The Gunners have long been admirers of the Frenchman and are now ready to make their interest in the winger concrete.

Dembele's former teammate at Dortmund, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has also called the Arsenal hierarchy to sign Dembele which has further ignited talks of a blockbuster Arsenal summer transfer. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are also linked with the pacy winger.

In your most surprising transfer news of the day, the Daily Star has tipped Fabio Capello as one of the front-runners to replace Arsene Wenger in the summer. It is a well-known fact that Wenger's future at the club is hanging by a thread and his failure to win the Europa League will finally lead him to his sacking.

Capello recently left Chinese club Jiangsu Suning by mutual consent. He went to the Far East last year but a poor run has led the veteran Italian to halt his Chinese adventure. The 71-year-old has previously managed top clubs like Juventus and Real Madrid and also has a four-year experience of managing the England national side.

Capello joins a long list of managers being linked with the post at the Emirates with the other candidates being Thomas Tuchel, Carlo Ancelotti, Massimiliano Allegri and Mikel Arteta.

Hoffenheim's Kerem Demirbay has emerged as a transfer target for the North London side. Evening Standard has reported that Demirbay has impressed Arsenal's head of recruitment Sven Mislinstat who is looking to bring the German midfielder to Arsenal.

Hoffenheim consider Demirbay as one of their brightest prospects and value him around £20 million. The Gunners are looking to sign a midfielder this summer with the future of Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey still being in the doldrums.

Elseid Hysaj snubs Arsenal

With Hector Bellerin rumoured to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, Arsenal had reportedly identified Napoli's Elseid Hysaj as a potential replacement. Hysaj has been an integral member under Maurizio Sarri and has been a fan favourite in Naples.

But the right-back has now reportedly decided to snub Arsenal and sign a brand new deal to continue playing for Napoli. Calciomercato understands that the Albanian will sign a new deal until 2023 which will also include a €80 million release clause.
