#3 High Press has finally arrived at the Emirates

Arsenal were not so good, let's all agree on that. But I am going to wait for a few games in the season to pass judgement on Emery's Arsenal. The one interesting thing to notice about yesterday's Arsenal was the presence of concerted press from Arsenal players.

In the days gone by, Sanchez would run around for a bit, wave his arms in frustration and that would be the end of Arsenal's "press". Today we saw Emery's players pressing high up on the pitch, and on a couple of occasions, it looked like it might work.

Still, yesterday was just the first game and there is a lot of work to be done on the training field, and the one thing for certain is that Arsenal are trying to adapt Emery's principles of high pressing.
