Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has warned Premier League club Arsenal to prepare themselves to face the ‘best of Bayern’ in their upcoming Champions League match, as per the reports on Bild. Bayern suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium last month and both clubs will face against each other again at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

The North London club revived their Champions League hopes by picking up a crucial victory against the German Champions on Match Day 3. Second half goals from Oliver Giroud and Mesut Ozil was enough to send Bayern back to the German capital without any points.

It was a much-needed victory for Arsene Wenger and his players who had suffered two humiliating defeats to Dynamo Zagreb and Olympiacos before they faced the Bavarians last month. The Gunners need another positive result from their visit to the Allianz Arena if they want to keep their Champions League dreams alive.

Bayern are now preparing ahead of this exciting encounter, having seen their 100 percent record in Bundesliga end in their 0-0 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday. The Bavarians, dominant as ever, failed to bury the chances presented to them at Frankfurt despite enjoying a staggering 74 percent of the possession.

Chilean midfielder Vidal, who moved to Munich during summer from Turin, has sent a message to the in-from Gunners and has warned them that his side will not hold anything back this time around.

“We'll show Arsenal the real Bayern on Wednesday,” he said.

“Our confidence is high.”

“This time we'll take our chances and take the three points.”

Vidal and his teammates remain top of Group G, level on points with Greek outfit Olympiakos, but they are up against a very determined Arsenal side, who are hoping to secure a positive result after losing their opening two group games.

We need to do better against Arsenal: Boateng

Bayern’s undisputed No.1 goalkeeper Manuel Neuer expects the English opposition to adopt a more defensive approach than they had in the first leg at the Emirates while defender Jerome Boateng has urged his teammates to remain focused and determined if they are to get back to winning ways.

“We have to regenerate now and do better against Arsenal,” Boateng said.

“Arsenal pulled everyone back at their place and I guess it'll be pretty much the same again.”

The last time Arsenal visited Allianz Arena was back in 2014, in a match which ended 1-1. Despite picking up an impressive 2-0 victory back in 2013, the Gunners failed to progress to the Champions League quarterfinals on aggregate.
