The Gunners are set to take on Cardiff City in one of the more one-sided games in the fixture list, and Arsene Wenger’s men are unlikely to suffer a defeat to the Welsh side.
Arsenal have many factors in their favour, and the most compelling reason for choosing the North London side is their rock-solid defence consisting of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny.
The duo have presided over the joint third best defence in the Premier League, an honour they share with second-placed Liverpool, Chelsea and Everton.
Cardiff, in contrast, have the third-worst goalscoring record so far with just nine goals in 11 games, so it’s fair to say that Arsenal shouldn’t be too troubled by their attack.
Combined with their sensational attacking lineup, Arsenal should easily sweep to victory with the likes of Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott all likely to feature.
Having averaged two goals a game for the season so far, it is difficult to see how Arsenal can fail to score against the Bluebirds and should the goals flow, Cardiff will find it very difficult to match their opponents.
If all goes to plan on the day, the Gunners should be walking away from the Cardiff City Stadium with all three points.
