Arsenal have prepared a transfer shortlist for the summer transfer window in case they do not qualify for the Champions League, reported the Daily Mirror. There are some fantastic players shortlisted, with the A-list players including David Villa, Steven Jovetic, Mario Gotze, Luiz Gustavo and Victor Valdes. But this seems impossible without Champions League qualification for the next season.
If Arsenal win their match against rivals Tottenham, they would cut Tottenham’s lead to a meagre 1 point, which they could cut over the course of the season.
Players on the transfer B-list include Newcastle’s Yohan Cabaye, Wigan midfielder James McCarthy and Celtic star Victor Wanyama.
Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue has also been mentioned as a possible target. Etienne Capoue has also been eyed by Tottenham. Whichever club can finish in the top four can bag this player, and thus make their team a lot stronger.
