Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has said that France should quit playing football if they are unable to beat Honduras.
France will open their World Cup campaign by facing Honduras in the Group E match at Porto Alegre, Brazil.
“On paper France are the favourites to win, but on the field it will all boil down to the level of football they play”, said Wenger in an interview.

The Frenchman also warned France to look too much into the game against Jamaica where they humiliated the Carribean team 8-0.
“They should not look too much into the game against Jamaica because it was a Friendly. Honduras had pledged on their flag that they will give their everything when they commence their World Cup campaign, and when a team comes with such kind of belief then they are a dangerous outfit and therefore France will have to play extremely well gainst them” added the Arsenal Manager.
Despite asking his country not to take Honduras lightly, Wenger felt that the latter are not favourites enough to clear the group stage.
“I don't think Honduras can advance to the next round until and unless they beat any one of the teams”.
It was then Wenger commented that France should quit playing Football if they are unable to beat Honduras.
