Arsene Wenger has admitted that there is a possibility that striker Nicklas Bendtner could play for Arsenal this season, say arseblog news.
Bendtner,25, has been linked with Hull City, West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace this summer but Bendtner’s wages have been a sticking point for all of the clubs that have been linked with him.
At today’s press conference, the Arsenal boss admitted that Bendtner could feature for the first team as Arsenal are light on options in the striking department.
“The chance for him to leave now is very small,” he said. “If he comes back well and gets fit, I will use him.”
Denmark international Bendtner had stated earlier in the summer that he had made a decision to leave Arsenal.
Speaking to sporten.dk he said, “I have decided 100% that I must leave Arsenal. I’ve considered this for a long time and was quite clear when I arrived at my decision.
“It doesn’t feel particularly strange to not know what my future holds – I’m quite calm and confident that I’ll be fine at a new club.
