Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has said his team fared better against Atletico Madrid over two legs of their Champions League semi-final and it is a pity that they got eliminated on the away goal rule.
Bayern were knocked out of the tournament after losing the away first leg 1-0 and winning the second leg at home 2-1, reports Efe.
Atletico qualified by the double value of the goals scored, according to the tournament rules.

"We were better in both matches, in which we dominated the game. They took their opportunities and therefore are in the final," Vidal said after the second leg match on Tuesday.
"We are sad, but we still have a chance to win two titles," said the Chilean.
"They had three chances in 180 minutes and scored two goals," added Vidal.
When asked if he considers Atletico Madrid a deserving finalist, the Chilean said: "Of course not. They proceed and we were sad."
