With Frank Lampard all set to be a free agent in the summer with Chelsea refusing to offer the club legend a contract, the Englishman has been linked with a move abroad.
Reports state that both AS Monaco and LA Galaxy are pursuing the veteran star. A move to France seems more likely as Lampard would then link up with former boss Claudio Ranieri, who signed him from West Ham in 2001 for £11million.
In related news, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson expressed regret at not signing Lampard. He said “I looked at him when he was at West Ham as a young player. Where else could I have got 200 goals from midfield?”
