Ashley Young was pranked by his Manchester United teammates over the bird poo incident

The season is going great for Manchester United winger Ashley Young, but it sure didn’t start very well. The opening match of the season saw United host Swansea, and the game saw what looked like some bird poo fly into Young’s mouth.

The other United players though saw the funny side and teased the winger by placing a fake bird above his place in the dressing room.

His Manchester United teammate Luke Shaw recently spoke about the incident and said that the team did pull Young’s leg over the whole situation.

He said in an interview on Match of the Day, "Ashley Young is the joker in the dressing room. We still laugh about the time he got bird poo in his mouth against Swansea. If you ask him now, he'll say it wasn't bird poo. In the changing room, we hung a fake bird above his place as a joke which he didn't like."
