Barcelona secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Athletic Club in the semifinals of the Supercopa de Espana, thanks to a dazzling performance from Gavi. The diminutive midfielder bagged a goal and an assist to help his side to victory in Jeddah.

Gavi opened the scoring after being set up by Alejandro Balde in the 17th minute. He turned provider in the 52nd minute, setting up Lamine Yamal to secure the win.
