The first-weekend bonanza witnessed some nail-biting intense matches. There was end-to-end high-action drama from the word go. In the opening match of the league, which was played between AU Rajasthan FC & Mewar FC, the match ended in a 1-1 draw with Sadiq scoring for AU Rajasthan FC & Sharukh scoring for Mewar FC. It took merely 30 seconds for everyone to be on their toes as a direct try at goal to kick off was heading towards the top corner only for Nitin Meel, the AU Rajasthan shot-stopper to tip it over for a corner. The match not only featured a goal from each side, but a defender each, Prithu Sharma from AU Rajasthan FC & Tosif Khan from Mewar were shown red cards.
In the second match of the weekend, Rajasthan Eagles outclassed Playspace by 4 goals to Nil. Ranu Singh was the star of the show, making some impressive runs inside the box and scoring a brace. However, for the Playspace defense line, the major worry was Shubham who created plenty of chances and space to extend the Eagles lead. To make it worse, Playspace conceded an own goal in the dying minutes of the match.
The most thrilling and exciting match of the first week witnessed Neerja Modi Football club play a 3-3 draw with Mewar City FC. Mewar who were playing their second match in as many days were on the back foot from the word go. Shriom Sharma the captain of Neerja Modi created havoc running deep through their defense line. He then converted the penalty to give Neerja Modi a well-deserved lead, before Mewar drew level through Trilok Rao. Shriom then scored one of the top goals of the week. He went on a beautiful solo run before finishing in the top corner. The maestro did not stop there, another nail in the coffin was put in when a long cross ball from Shriom gave Siddhart and open goal to finish, leaving the keeper helpless. At this particular moment when the match was well in the hands of Neerja Modi, started the great comeback. With Sharukh pulling one back finishing one on one with the keeper before Sajid completed the comeback in 90+3 minutes.
The last game of the first week was another one-sided affair between Jaipur City FC & Ajmer FC. With Jaipur City FC starting on a positive note as Bhanu converted a free kick right outside the box. The left-footed effort was nothing less than watching Gareth Bale curl one in the top corner. Amit Godara scored on either side of the half to give JCFC a comfortable 3-0 lead. Tom Titus scored the fourth before Ritik pulled one back from the spot for Ajmer City FC.
