French Defender Bacary Sagna has tweeted that he is leaving Arsenal after seven years.
In the tweet Sagna has called Arsenal his home and family and said that the club transformed from a boy into a man. Sagna also thanked Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger for leading him and helping him become a better player.
Sagna’s deal is supposed to expire by the end of June after which he is free to associate with any club.
Sagna who came to Emirates in 2007 has appeared in 284 games for the Gunners scoring 5 goals and has 22 assists to his name.
Currently along with English premier League Champion Manchester City there are many top clubs to have expressed their desire to sign the 31 year old Frenchman.
