Jaap Stam:

One of United’s best centre-backs, the former Netherlands stopper spent three trophy-laden years at Manchester United.

Roberto Carlos:

The diminutive Brazilian has patented the rather-impossible-free-kick-which-beats keepers-after-an-insane-swerve. A pretty good defender too.

Maicon:

Tall Brazilian defender (at least we think he is) who shoots more often than he tackles.

MIDFIELDERS:

Juan Sebastian Veron:

Midfielder who for some reason is loved by fans of Inter and Chelsea but hated by those who support Manchester United.

Wesley Sneijder:

Midfielder who loves hogging the ball and not sharing it with teammates. Is locked in a long-standing competition over who-can-be-more-selfish-with-the-ball with Arjen Robben.

Zinedine Zidane:

One of the world’s awesomest who will be forever remembered as a legend of the game.

STRIKERS:

Ronaldo:

Not Cristiano. The other guy. You know, who won the World Cup, scored an insane amount of goals and then got fat?

Thierry Henry:

Arsenal legend who is capable of ‘handling’ anything on his day.

Samuel Eto’o:

Cameroonian guy who made his name with Barcelona and Inter Milan but moved to Russia as an inspiration to African kids.
