4. Sadio Mane - Liverpool
Sadio Mane, since the turn of the year, has been one of the most potent attackers in world football and he was a vital cog of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool team that won the European Cup and amassed 97 points in the league last season. Mane has carried on from where he left off and it could be argued that he's leading Liverpool's title charge this season, as he's continued to score important goals for the Reds.
Although he shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and teammate Mohamed Salah last season, Mane scored the most non penalty league goals as he took his tally up to 21 goals for Liverpool. Mane already has 12 goals and 5 assists to his name this season and since the turn of the year, only Jamie Vardy has scored more Premier League goals than the Senegalese hitman.
Aside from his exploits with Liverpool, Mane came within touching distance of AFCON glory with Senegal, as his side came up short against Algeria in the final. The 27-year-old is one of the most explosive attackers in world football and will deservedly be recognised for his performances this year, as he makes the top-ten quite comfortably.
