Mario Balotelli is now in the centre of another controversy; this time it’s racism. AC Milan vice-president, Paolo Berlusconi, has recently described him as “he family’s little n****r.“
Paolo Berlusconi, who is also the younger brother of former Italian prime minister Silvio, said called Balotelli “negretto di famiglia.” He was filmed making this comment at a political meeting in Monza.
This clip showed Mr. Berlusconi saying “OK, we are all off to see the family’s little n****r. He’s a crazy head. All the young ladies are invited as well – you can even have a chance to meet the President.”
The Vice-President’s comments left the people furious, especially after Paolo’s brother, Silvio, praised Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng for walking off the pitch after being racially abused during a friendly match in January.
Paolo Berlusconi made this comment when attending a rally for a candidate for his brother’s party, People of Freedom.
Mario Balotelli joined AC Milan recently from Manchester City, and has scored twice on his debut against Udinese.
