Barcelona and Bayern Munich interested in Laurent Koscielny, confirms his agent

Reports suggested that FC Barcelona might be in the process of readying a shock transfer bid for Arsenal defender Laurent Koscienlny. Current European Champions Bayern Munich are also reported to be chasing the 27-year-old.

Earlier Barca valued him at around €15 million, which was not considered enough by Arsene Wenger to let go of Koscielny, who is arguably his most improved player after the last season.

Koscielny’s agent Stephane Courbois said, “There is interest. I know that Laurent is part of a shortlist of three or four players for both clubs.”

The Frenchman said that he would like to play in other leagues to win medals and improve his portfolio.
