Barcelona ups the ante on Daniel Agger!

Barcelona is hunting down Daniel Agger by putting him on top of their summer shopping list as they look to reshape their defence.

The Spanish giants did their homework about Liverpool’s Danish defender last transfer window, but didn’t follow up as he signed a new four-year contract at the Kop.

With old war horse Carlos Puyol now 34 years old and coming to the end of a glorious career, Barca want to reduce their average age and are ready to return with a substantial and tempting bid at the end of the season.
