FC Barcelona's attacking midfielder Arda Turan has had a bout of gastritis and therefore missed his club's practice on Tuesday ahead of their La Liga football clash against Deportivo La Coruna.
Barcelona will look to end their four-match winless streak when they travel to Deportivo's den, the Estadio Riazor stadium on Wednesday.
Turan will reportedly be examined on the morning of the match-day to see if he is fit enough to feature in the game.
Barcelona tweeted: "Arda Turan to be held out of training today with gastritis. His recovery time will determine his availability for tomorrow's game."
Barcelona are aiming to turn things around in the La Liga, having lost three successive games to squander a nine-point lead.
They have had failure in the recent games in all competitions and are presently leading the domestic league table only by virtue of a superior head-to-head record against Atletico Madrid.
Turan is a vital cog in the Catalan giants' attacking wheel and they would desperately want him to get back to winning ways.
The 29-year-old Turkish international has scored two times for the defending champions from nine starts and five substitute appearances since signing for the club in July 2015.
