It is a typical transfer saga between Arsenal and Barcelona once again. Although not a high profile one, Barcelona are offering a contract extension for 17-year old Paraguayan youngster Antonio Sanabria, who is on Arsenal’s radar.

The Catalan club are not taking the risk of losing yet another potential world class player to Arsenal and are desperately trying to renegotiate a new deal in a hope to extend his current deal until 2019.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Juventus are all in for the 17-year-old Paraguayan striker who has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave for £2.5m. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been tracking the teenager after he was highly recommended by his scouts and Arsenal have a long history of poaching kids from Barca.

Barca have written to the FA and the Premier League to try and stem the flow and are also trying to be proactive on Sanabria. (Mirror)
