According to a story from Yahoo sports, should Mikel Arteta becomes Arsenal coach this summer, Manchester City will be swooping in for Andres Iniesta with a player-coach contract.
The Spanish footballer has apparently taken interest in the offer and is considering it seriously right now. Arteta has been heavily linked with a move to his former club, to take the managerial reigns from Arsene Wenger. Pep Guardiola has reportedly lined up Iniesta to replace his right hand, wanting his Barcelona player to join hands with him at City next season.
The Spaniard announced recently that he will be leaving Barcelona after 16 years of service to the senior team. While he has been linked with a move to China all summer, it seems like the 34-year-old might just stay around in European football for the next season.
