What's the news?
According to a report by AS, FC Barcelona winger, Malcom, has caught the attention of Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, but the Catalonian side is looking forward to bids from Premier League clubs instead.
In case you didn't know
The 22-year old Malcom has barely featured for Barca this season and has had only 2 goals to his name since his move to FC Barcelona last summer.
The heart of the matter
Catalonian giant, FC Barcelona, is looking to sell the Brazilian winger to a Premier League club even though German giants, Borussia Dortmund, are looking to sign the 22-year old.
The Bundesliga side is searching for a winger to replace their Chelsea FC bound American star, Christian Pulisic. The German side had tried severally to sign the winger during his time with Ligue 1 side, Girondins de Bordeaux.
La Blaugrana though is not very willing to sell the 22-year old to the Bundesliga side, with the LaLiga giants stalling the transfer for a Premier League club to make a bid for Malcom instead.
FC Barcelona is thought to be expecting a transfer fee close to what they gave Girondins de Bordeaux last season for the transfer of the 22-year old winger.
Malcom has had a torrid time at the Nou Camp this season after failing to break into the first team. The Brazilian made 23 appearances for La Blaugrana and scored 4 goals in all competitions, but has mostly been used as a substitute from the bench, enjoying less than 1000 minutes of playing time.
What's next?
FC Barcelona will play their final match of the season against Valencia next Sunday in the final of the Copa del Rey.
