One player who has apparently caught the eye of Barca's scouts is French international Benjamin Pavard. Pavard, who was a part of France's 2018 World Cup-winning campaign, was the surprise package for the French team, impressing in the right back slot.

Pavard, who plays for German club VfB Stuttgart, is reportedly a transfer target for Barcelona, according to reputed journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. The player's agents have met with Barca officials and a deal could be done for the transfer to happen in the summer transfer window, as per the report.

The 22-year-old is a centre back by trade, but can also play at right back.
