#3 Barca to sign highly-rated defender
Barcelona are keen on adding more defenders to their ranks as they will have only three first-team central defenders after the departure of Thomas Vermaelen. Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt was linked with a move to Nou Camp, but those rumours have eased off now as Bayern Munich and Juventus are now frontrunners in signing the young defender.

Barca have now reportedly turned their sights on another young defender, Toulouse's Jean-Clair Todibo, as per Gianluca Di Marzio. Todibo is a 19-year-old defender who plays in the French league, and his contract at the club will expire at the end of the current season.
Italian clubs Napoli and Juventus are also rumoured to in his signature but Barca appear to be in pole position to sign him.
