Arsenal have been linked with Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, as the Spanish midfielder is looking to leave Nou Camp due to a lack of opportunities. Arsenal manager Unai Emery, who managed Suarez at Sevilla, dropped a massive hint that the Gunners are in talks to sign him.

“I don’t know. I think the club is working for the possibility to take some players who can help us during these next four months. Maybe the transfer market can help us with a centre-back, but it is not easy because also [Konstantinos] Mavropanos is also coming back after injury. Also a winger, right or left, one player can help us in this position.”

“He (Suarez) was playing in his career, and also with me also, as a right or left winger.”

Barcelona are willing to let go of Suarez for a fee of around £18 million.
