#4 Barca's massive bid for defender rejected
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has been linked with a host of clubs, including Barcelona, but Barca's bid for the world-class defender has reportedly been rejected by Napoli, as per 221 People.
The report states that the Spanish giants' £107million bid for Kouilbaly has been rejected by the Italian club. Manchester United are the other club that have had serious interest in the £107million Senegalese international.
Barcelona are keen on adding more defenders to their team, and have already signed Jeison Murillo on loan from Valencia.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed last month that the club had rejected Manchester United's £95million to sign Kalidou Koulibaly.
De Laurentiis sounded determined to keep hold of Koulibaly and said that Napoli were capable of developing "top players": “We are more than capable of developing top players and keeping them too. When they offer £95m for a centre-back, that is a figure that has never been offered before, it means this is a top player.”
