Barcelona claim Neymar is “unsellable”
Barcelona have ruled out selling Neymar in the summer with strong reports of him being linked with a move to Manchester United, according to the club's technical secretary Robert Fernandez.
Neymar sparked a series of rumours earlier this season when he claimed his fondness for the Premier League and admiration for Manchester United and Liverpool.
Neymar was quoted by The Sun saying: "The Premier League is a championship that amazes me. I like the playing style and the teams. And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.
"I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool – these are the teams that are always there fighting. And then you have high-level coaches like Mourinho and Guardiola. These are coaches with whom any player would like to work."
Commenting on the speculation, Robert Fernandez spoke with local radio station RAC1 and claimed that Barcelona are happy with their front three and are only looking at Paulo Dybala to add to their firepower and under no circumstance will Neymar be allowed to quit the club.
Fernandez said: "[Dybala] is a magnificent player, but we already have the best three [forwards] in the world."
Eriksen ready to join Barca, claims De Boer
Frank de Boer believes Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen has the quality required to play for Barcelona. Eriksen has managed 11 goals and 20 assists this season and has been linked with a move to Camp Nou this summer along with his clubmate Dele Alli.
Speaking to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, former Barca star De Boer said: “I think he can have a wonderful career. “First Ajax, then Tottenham and then the highest level.
“I think he’s ready for a step higher. He has all that a Barcelona player must have. He has an overview, he has a working ethic, and he kicks well with both legs.”
According to reports from Don Balon, Barcelona are weighing up a possible £58 million summer move for Eriksen as they seem him as the ideal replacement for the 32-year-old Andres Iniesta.
Latest on Bellerin to Barca links
It is no secret how much Barcelona want a quality right back in the summer with Aleix Vidal being ruled out for rest of the season. Vidal’s injury may hinder his progress at Camp Nou with the club aiming to sign a new defender in the summer.
According to reports from RAC1, Barca’s club's technical secretary Robert Fernandez has confirmed an interest in Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, who has developed himself into a first team player this season.
Fernandez said: "Bellerin is a player who has a contract at Arsenal. He is a magnificent player, undoubtedly, but there are more right-backs [who could be interested]. Barcelona have the obligation to have many right-backs under control."
Messi’s summer transfer demands keep on coming
In last few weeks, Spanish press has used Lionel Messi as the bully in the Barcelona dressing room and have made various claims of Lionel Messi dictating the next summer’s transfer business for Barcelona. Continuing the theme, Don Balon reported earlier today claiming Messi wants four new signings and is keen on selling six current players from the club.
As per the reports, Messi wants to see a new right back (Hector Bellerin), a world class striker (Paulo Dybala), and two creative midfielders (Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen) at the club next season which can take the load off his and Andres Iniesta’s shoulders.
According to Don Balon, Messi also wants six players out of Camp Nou this summer, namely, Paco Alcacer, Andre Gomes, Jeremy Mathieu, Aleix Vidal, Javier Mascherano and Ivan Rakitic.
