While the sale of Neymar caused a lot of Barcelona fans heartburn, the one player who has perhaps benefited the most is Jordi Alba. Given the freedom to make his trademark barnstorming runs down the left, the Spaniard has formed an excellent understanding with Messi this season.
Having made 25 appearances and already contributed 6 assists, Alba has been excellent for Barcelona both as an attacking and defensive outlet.
#9 Paulinho (Central midfielder) - £120,000/week

Probably the biggest surprise of the Barcelona side this season, Paulinho has taken La Liga by storm with his impressive and match-winning performances. Adding physicality and dynamism to the Blaugrana midfield, Paulinho has quickly become a fan favourite at the Camp Nou.
The Brazilian will be hoping to continue his dream start and finish the season strongly for the Spanish giants.
