Kimmich picked up a fine assist against Milan
Joshua Kimmich was his usual self against Milan. He was stellar at the back, and eager in attack. The German right back has been a composed figure at the back for the Bundesliga Giants for quite some time now and against Milan too, he did not put a foot wrong. In fact, Milan hardly found any joy through his side, as he effectively shut the door and forced the Serie A giants to looks for other portals of entry.

The Bayern right back's responsibility was not limited in defense alone. Kimmich set up the all important goal, with an incredible pass to Goretzka, which split the Milan defense into two. His inch perfect ball from almost 20 yards out found the midfielder in space and allowed him to score the only goal of the game.
Kimmich was a regular feature in the final third and sent in great balls all through the game. Only some slack finishing stopped him from picking up more assists on the night.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
