Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has agreed to join Bayern Munich on a pre-contract according to German newspaper Bild.
The Polish international, who has scored 11 goals so far in the Bundesliga, had refused to sign a contract extension in the summer of 2013 and wanted to move to a new club.
This will be a big blow for Dortmund as they have been ravaged by injuries and will now have to deal with the exit of Lewandowski for absolutely nothing. The deal is rumoured to be around 11 million euros a year until 2019.
Lewandowski was pictured with Bayern’s club doctor, Dr Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt, on Saturday morning.
