Bayern Munich Transfer News

The most successful side in the history of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich are heavyweights when it comes to the transfer market as well. The club have quite a few resources and have signed some of the best players in Europe to ensure they have won the Bundesliga in the last five decades.

They have lifted the Bundesliga a record 27 times and no one has come close to challenging their supremacy. While the likes of Borussia Moenchengladbach, Hamburg, Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund did win league titles, they haven't been able to maintain the consistency.

Bayern's ability to spend in the transfer market had made them quite a few enemies. The reason being the Bavarians have signed quite a few players from their direct rivals in the recent past. Though they don't spend as extravagantly as the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona or PSG, their grip over the domestic market is one of the reasons why the Bundesliga has become very predictable.

The emphasis has remained on signing young German players, though. Over the years, the club have signed the likes of Sebastian Deisler, Lukas Podolski, Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng and Joshua Kimmich and they've played key roles in their success. The side also signed experienced internationals like Miroslav Klose, Xabi Alonso, Arjen Robben and Arturo Vidal in shrewd deals.
