Chelsea ace Eden Hazard handed Chelsea a massive scare in the form of an injury, as the player limped off the pitch during Belgium’s final training session before Friday night’s World Cup qualifier clash against Scotland, The Daily Mail reports.
The 22-year-old chose to ignore a recurring achilles problem, stating that it was an old injury and said that he was ready to face Scotland at Hampden Park.
The midfielder will almost certainly not be included in the game after experiencing pain during the early stages of training and had to forcefully leave the field.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho would spent sleepless nights after learning that Hazard has failed to overcome the injury that has dampened his spirits while training with the Belgian team.
The biggest fear will be any aggravation which might have been caused to the injury, which can force the Belgian to miss the entire season of this year’s Barclay’s Premiere League.
