Moroccan International Younes Belhanda is set to leave Stade de la Mosson, Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has confirmed. The Moroccon is said to have attracted bids from all around Europe and its now left to the the player to make a decision about his next destination.
Belhanda had an impressive 2012-13 season , scoring 12 goals including two in the Champions league. The Premier League is an option for the player, with Aston Villa having bid for the player as well. Arsenal are also rumoured to be interested.
“He is leaving,” said Nicoll. “There are four or five clubs that have come in. It is now down to the player to choose now because we are almost in agreement with the clubs. He will leave for 14-15 million euros.”
When asked if there were other concrete offers, he said, “Yes. From AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Galatasaray and Aston Villa.
“We have no problem now, he [Belhanda] has the authority to agree with whoever he wants now.”
Belhanda joined Montpellier at the age of 13 and has been at the club ever since. He played a crucial part in La Paillade ‘s first league title in 2011-2012 season.
