While in his teens, Jack Rodwell was already being talked about as one of England’s most impressive young talents, with the midfielder commanding a regular first-team berth in the 2011-12 season for the Toffees.

However, his development saw a major slump following a £15 million move to Manchester City, where he has hardly featured over the last season and a half. With more experienced players among City’s ranks, the 22-year old has hardly got a game for the title contenders, and it is left to be seen how long he waits before demanding a move away from the club.
