Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema wants his France team-mate Paul Pogba to leave Juventus for Real Madrid this summer as rumours regarding the 21 year olds future continue. Los Blancos have been linked with a big money move for the reputed youngster with PSG and Chelsea also reportedly looking for his signature.
Pogba made 36 appearances for Juevntus last season and was key player for the Bianconeri and Benzema was all praise for the youngster: “He’s a young player playing at a big European club. He gets better with each game and he’s at a high level and will continue to work hard. I would love him to leave for Madrid, because he’s French and can become a great player.”
Benzema also clarified that he is fit to play in the World Cup as his recovery from a small muscle injury is going as planned saying “My adductor is healing, it's much better, there's nothing to worry about. I started to run again and I work with the physios, it's evolving in the right way. Now I have to keep working but don't be worried, it's much better than when I played in the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid.”
Both Benzema and Pogba are expected to be key players for France at the World Cup.
