As the Virat Kohli Foundation collaborated with Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Playing for Humanity’ to bring together some of the biggest names in the country on a football field, Mumbai witnessed yet another starry affair at the Mumbai Sports Arena (previously known as Andheri Sports Complex) last evening.
While Virat Kohli’s All Hearts XI featured a host of prominent cricketers such as Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh and Ravichandran Ashwin, Abhishek’s Bachchan’s All Stars XI wasn’t much far behind either.
The Bollywood-based side had flaunted the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Dino Morea and Shoojit Sircar. Although the star-studded match ultimately ended at 2-2, it would be quite safe to say that the ultimate winner of the night was the Mumbai crowd.

Here is an image of the Abhishek Bachchan-led All Stars XI side warming up before the big kick-off. Raj Kundra (Left), Dino Morea (Center) and Ranbir Kapoor (Right) all played an important part in the charity match which finally ended at 2-2.
Virat Kohli, the captain of the All Hearts XI side seemed pretty relaxed before the game. Here we see the Indian Test captain having a hot beverage as Mahendra Singh Dhoni shuns his footballing skills before the kick-off.
The high-profile charity match- quite obviously- boasted a number of high-profile names who were present in the gallery supporting their respective sides. Here we see the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty enjoying the match while other Bollywood personalities such as Sonakshi Sinha were also present to cheer both the set of players.
Ranbir Kapoor had not only played his heart out last night but he was- undoubtedly- one of the main pillars of the All Stars XI midfield. Here we see Ranbir Kapoor having a bit of chat with Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh before the start of the match.

Despite having conceded a couple of early goals, the Virat Kohli-led All Hearts XI side fought back valiantly to end the match at 2-2. Although, Yuvraj Singh and KL Rahul were at the heart of the All Hearts XI comeback, here are a couple of images which show Mahendra Singh Dhoni flaunting his goalkeeping skills and Virat Kohli with the ball at his feet.
The 30-year-old Indian opening batsman, Shikhar Dhawan had quite a memorable day with the ball at his feet. This image shows Dhawan- also known as Gabbar- trying to put one in the back of the net.
The Indian limited overs captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni had his fair share of moments last evening as well. Here we not only see Dhoni posing for a photograph alongside Abhishek Bachchan but he also seemed pretty relaxed before the game with a smiling Virat Kohli in the background.
